Re: Bitcoin Debit Cards

To be honest I hate the concept of bitcoin debit cards because they don't actually use the blockchain. You're just selling a bitcoin reserve then giving the business to Visa or whoever is processing the payment.

I don't hate the concept because it is better than not having an option. I think it ...

Not following your logic. If you have a Shift card there are no fees at all right now when you use the card for purchases. There is a $2.50 fee for ATM withdrawals.

Bitcoin Debit Cards

We all know bitcoin is not accepted everywhere. For those cases, we can use a debit card. I'm creating this thread so we can all include options and discuss fees and hidden fees.

What I wonder is how feasible it is. What's the point of having a debit card if you have to pay annual fees, monthly ...

All those big companies could use BitPay payment services. They receive in bitcoin and convert to fiat (USD) instantly so there is no risk for the company receiving the payment.

Add user LIKES to posts.

When somebody likes a post, it gets included in the footer of the post. It might hurt the design a little but its great when you're reading long threads. It's a good way to rapidly filter great posts.

When you see a post with many likes, you know the content is worth a read.
