Securities (Stocks)

Mon Nov 02, 2015 10:09 pm

Bitcoin is a revolutionary technology. It can give access to banking to anyone in the world. What I wonder is; when is bitcoin going to give everyone access to securities?

I wish I could buy shares from companies I like without having to rely on normal banking/brokerage. Imagine companies getting access to capital more easily. Imagine how great it would be to receive dividends in bitcoin.

Havelock Investments does that but only lists bitcoin-related companies (mostly mining) that eventually lose all your bitcoins.
TOR Broker was a good idea but security-wise was horrible. They could be running a ponzi-scheme and we'll never know. The service closed last year (I think) giving back all bitcoins to its clients.

Is any development I don't know being made?

You might want to give https://1broker.com/ a try.

1Broker is just like defunct TOR Broker. The idea is great but there's no trust. How do I know if they won't disappear with customer funds? That's the big problem to be solved.

Is there a country who could accept the concept legally?
