This is mostly for developers who don't want to buy a host and keep paying extra money while having multiple the blockchain size keep growing and the node consuming more resources because I don't see the utility of it for daily bitcoin users unless they indeed want to help the network but again, this type of people may find the price a little bit high.

I was thinking of running a node on a Raspberry Pi - might just consider this instead ;)
