Some type of forum constitution with guidelines on how the community can self govern would help. Who benefits from ad revenue? Perhaps if the community knew the content and work they contribute went to raising bitcoins for bitcoin projects some might be more motivated to contribute useful content. Is all forum content CC licensed?Thank you all for being the pioneers on this new forum.
Do any of you have ideas on what we can do to make sure we get more traction?
I posted the one idea here: the-forum/making-this-forum-a-success-a ... -t178.html
but would like to hear more.
AMAs... Has worked well for Reddit obviously, and also Zapchain more recently.Thank you all for being the pioneers on this new forum.

Another possibility would be to host a formal debate in the forums. Come up with the rules and have a group pick a winner based on rules. Could be a debate on block size and perhaps quite a few will follow the discussion driving more to the forums?Great idea.
Who should we ask to do the AMAs?
Some people who I think would be likely to help with this are:
Myself
Mike Hearn
Gavin Andresen
Erik Vorhees
Andreas Antonopolous
Charlie Shrem via the prison email system.
Who else?
Is there someone on this forum already who would be willing to be the PR guy and front man to help organize this?
Great idea.

Uhh, no. David Seaman declared bitcoin as "failed" in Jan 2015 when the price dropped under $300. His affinity for Bitcoin is highly correlated with price action. The first batch of AMAs needs to be high-caliber people....
