Did you mean to write "from which I paid him"? If the bitcoins that you paid him with came exclusively from your Electrum wallet, and if the refund is sent to one of the input addresses in the payment transaction, then Electrum should see the refund transaction because the bitcoins would be sent to an address in your wallet.A refund was issued to that same address to which I paid him.
This is just me making an attempt to get my funds back. I thought I had at least enough basic knowledge to make a payment with BTC , which I did, but I was being lied to by a vendor about sending me a refund. I thought with my limited knowledge I was doing something wrong, but it's the vendor trying to scam me.But, if I may chip in, the transaction to this address https://blockchain.info/address/15mrEDi ... fHiaeSSysV is showing in the requests window in the above picture, which means that a request must have been created in the same electrum wallet and you can only make requests with the address that is in the Electrum wallet?
