I made a small deposit (0.005) to the casino to see what its like and first off was surprised that we accept 0 confirmation transactions, although you can't cash out until the transaction confirms this is still a risky practice for a BTC casino i believe.
Casino looked great and easy to use on my laptop but once battery went flat i swapped over to playing on my phone and it was not that easiest to navigate.
I use a Samsung galaxy 4s and some slots wouldnt open unless i update browser, i dont play anywhere much but have never had that problem before.
I also seen that their is an option to speed up withdrawals by submitting ID and ither personal stuff, i hope this is only needed to speed up fiat withdrawls and not BTC as well.
A large number of Bitcoin casinos nowadays are using 0 confirmation transactions for play and it's something that's very much in demand, so implementing a 1 confirmation requirement could negatively affect our userbase.
We're actually looking into this issue and methods to mitigate it on the admin side as we speak!
Regarding the slots that wouldn't open, could you email me at
gary@bitcoin.com or PM me the names of them if you can remember them, along with the time you were trying to play? Would also be handy to know which browser you were using (stock, Firefox, Opera etc.)
As far as speeding up withdrawals etc., you're correct, ID and other personal info is only ever required for certain fiat withdrawals!
I was using my phone when trying to accsess the slot that would not open so not really sure what browser a standard Samsung 4s uses.
Until things change I'm sorry but i won't be playing at this casino once I'm out of coins because it is as annoying as hell.
I still have a balance of 0.002 on the site that i will just gamble away but once that's gone i won't come back until things change to be more like some other bitcoin casinos.
Take fortune jack for example if you want to copy a great online casino, no ID needed just a bitcoin address and a email address. They even beat us on the deposit bonus in a way.
On our casino you get a 150% bonus for a 1btc deposit but bonus must be wagered 50 times before withdrawing is allowed, on FJ it is a smaller bonus of only 130% but you only have to gamble that 35 times before you can start to withdraw it.
Like just now i thought i would play the balance off on one of the slots (MegaMoolah) but could not even play because it wanted me to put in my full name, date of birth, email, phone number and probably blood type if i kept reading, this is not what bitcoin is about.
Why do we have to do this when no other bitcoin casino i have played at needs this info?
I have not played at many sites because i hardly ever gamble but i have never ever heard of having to verify your own address for withdrawals, that's just crazy, probably there for player withdrawal safety but not really needed in my opinion. Maybe for 1btc plus withdrawals but nothing smaller.
I imagine the answer is going to be about country laws the casino is hosted in but if so it's time to move that baby offshore.
Regarding the 0 confirmation deposits i still think it is too big a risk to take. This topic is often discussed on the forums and most people are happy with 1 confirmation deposits, it never takes long.
Edit: What is this about in terms and conditions "The maximum withdrawal limit for winnings from "free spin" without deposit is limited to 50 Euro or equivalent currency or 0.15 BTC. Remaining balance will be removed"
This does not really mean that if i win 1btc from free spins on a slot machine that i can only keep 0.15btc of it?
