Bitcoin.com has launched their own provably fair Casino!

Wed May 11, 2016 6:45 pm

I'm proud to announce that Bitcoin.com has partnered with Softswiss to launch a provably fair Casino at casino.bitcoin.com
We have more than 1,000 games from day one, but my favorite part is that anyone can deposit with a host of different fiat methods, including credit cards, and then withdraw via Bitcoin! This makes it a super easy place for people around the world to get their first bitcoins.
The available fiat deposit methods are:

This is also a great chance for anyone to earn a 30% commission on all referral traffic via our great affiliate program:

I'm also particularly fond of the landing screen for when Americans try to access the casino.

I'm happy to answer any questions people may have.

Looks great!
Hope we can play from Australia.

I have only had a brief look at the games so far but couldn't see a couple that i like to play:
Keno
Dice
Horse Racing

Are any of these games there?

Minimum bets should be very low too, for example on Fortune Jack where i play sometimes Roulette min bet is 0.001BTC, for someone like me who is lucky to even bet 0.01 a fortnight just for some fun that is too high, minimum bet of 0.0001BTC would be better.

There are more than 1,000 games, so you should be able to find what you want.

I'll see about getting the minimum bet amount reduced as well.

That sounds like a good idea. Any ideas on what specifically would be good?

Idk. Maybe some bonus with rollover but only for really old users to avoid abuse.
So far the best promotion on this forum was made by Edward from primedice.
the-forum/my-input-free-0-05-btc-includ ... t1749.html
But that was not stricte casino promotion.

This seems really cool and fun. Sucks that USA people cannot partake.

One question-- Can USA people partake in promoting and become an affiliate?

I'm not sure to be honest.

I made a small deposit (0.005) to the casino to see what its like and first off was surprised that we accept 0 confirmation transactions, although you can't cash out until the transaction confirms this is still a risky practice for a BTC casino i believe.

Casino looked great and easy to use on my laptop but once battery went flat i swapped over to playing on my phone and it was not that easiest to navigate.

I use a Samsung galaxy 4s and some slots wouldny open unless i update browser, i dont play anywhere much but have never had that problem before.

I also seen that their is an option to speed up withdrawals by submitting ID and ither personal stuff, i hope this is only needed to speed up fiat withdrawls and not BTC as well.

A large number of Bitcoin casinos nowadays are using 0 confirmation transactions for play and it's something that's very much in demand, so implementing a 1 confirmation requirement could negatively affect our userbase.

We're actually looking into this issue and methods to mitigate it on the admin side as we speak! :)

Regarding the slots that wouldn't open, could you email me at gary@bitcoin.com or PM me the names of them if you can remember them, along with the time you were trying to play? Would also be handy to know which browser you were using (stock, Firefox, Opera etc.)

As far as speeding up withdrawals etc., you're correct, ID and other personal info is only ever required for certain fiat withdrawals! :)

I was using my phone when trying to accsess the slot that would not open so not really sure what browser a standard Samsung 4s uses.

Until things change I'm sorry but i won't be playing at this casino once I'm out of coins because it is as annoying as hell.
I still have a balance of 0.002 on the site that i will just gamble away but once that's gone i won't come back until things change to be more like some other bitcoin casinos.

Take fortune jack for example if you want to copy a great online casino, no ID needed just a bitcoin address and a email address. They even beat us on the deposit bonus in a way.
On our casino you get a 150% bonus for a 1btc deposit but bonus must be wagered 50 times before withdrawing is allowed, on FJ it is a smaller bonus of only 130% but you only have to gamble that 35 times before you can start to withdraw it.

Like just now i thought i would play the balance off on one of the slots (MegaMoolah) but could not even play because it wanted me to put in my full name, date of birth, email, phone number and probably blood type if i kept reading, this is not what bitcoin is about.
Why do we have to do this when no other bitcoin casino i have played at needs this info?

I have not played at many sites because i hardly ever gamble but i have never ever heard of having to verify your own address for withdrawals, that's just crazy, probably there for player withdrawal safety but not really needed in my opinion. Maybe for 1btc plus withdrawals but nothing smaller.

I imagine the answer is going to be about country laws the casino is hosted in but if so it's time to move that baby offshore.

Regarding the 0 confirmation deposits i still think it is too big a risk to take. This topic is often discussed on the forums and most people are happy with 1 confirmation deposits, it never takes long.

Edit: What is this about in terms and conditions "The maximum withdrawal limit for winnings from "free spin" without deposit is limited to 50 Euro or equivalent currency or 0.15 BTC. Remaining balance will be removed"
This does not really mean that if i win 1btc from free spins on a slot machine that i can only keep 0.15btc of it?

I agree that we should have some options to play without requiring any registration at all.
I'll see about making that option available shortly.

That's ok, always happy to help.

Good to hear that this is being looked into as well and not just ignored, that is the sign of a good team behind this.
There is only some fine tuning to do and this casino could be great.

One more small thing was that i thought our casino had too much yellow and was really bright overall, that couldn't be good for long time play. Seriously a good place to start if you haven't already, take a look at fortune jack casino they have a great set up and the colours are much easier on the eyes.

While we're not sure how that particular casino is set up to accept U.S. players without putting themselves at legal risk we do wish them all the best in their venture to provide U.S. gamblers with a casino in which they can spend their bitcoins freely. Helping to provide people with freedom of choice and freedom over their own money is always to be commended, competitor or not! :)

We should point out though that their house edge is 2 - 10 times higher (depending on the game played) than the expected return that players at Bitcoin Games enjoy. This U.S. centric casino also has a monthly withdrawal limit of BTC5 which isn't all that much if you deposit and withdraw numerous times from your account. Still a commendable effort, but we're confident that our offerings provide better value gambling entertainment for players outside of the U.S. :)
