Back up words with ACCENTS???

I tried to set up a wallet with the windows app, looked easy enough - somehow though the back up words have accents (è à é) - er... REALLY? is this supposed to be universal? I mean I don't carry a french kbd with me, I never use accents on my phone, keyboards are different one country from the next, accents are not easy to duplicate... I deleted, restarted, even changed my windows regional settings, all english, nope, still the same silly words. Any way I can refresh this and have unaccentuated words? (and stop this thing getting in my registry to decide that I used french and so these words should be best for me...)

Are you using a Bitcoin.com wallet? You can change your apps language by going to "Settings" -> "Language".

That was the crux of the issue, no matter what I did, change settings, even from my PC, it still kept the same accentuated phrase on the wallet I created. Only when creating a new wallet did I get an "appropriate" seed phrase. I didn't get it wouldn't be able to change the "initial" seed, but only by creating a new wallet I could fix my issue - Thanks
