Simplex Purchased Bitcoin Not Received.

On Tuesday, 8 August at 08:22 GMT I purchased bitcoin with a credit card using the Simplex service through my Bitcoin Wallet. This was a first-time purchase. The transaction was authorized (my account was debited USD2,150.00, but I have yet to receive the bitcoin. During the transaction I was called upon to go through a verification process which included uploading a picture of myself with the card and copies of my passport.

I have contacted Simplex Support and received an automated response with a ticket number and login page. On trying to login to the ticket, I get an error message advising me that I'm not authorized to access that ticket.

Is anybody able to provide some assistance in how to proceed further?

Did u eventually receive the coin. I have been now waiting for 2 days and I havent received it yet.

I've got the same issue.
payment was done on 13'th of December, yet i haven't received anything into my wallet.
those i contacted the simplex support using email, no feedback at all besides an automatically generated Ticket ID which i can't check on status since their webportal doesn't allow me to create an account to check the status ...

this looks like Fraud to me, especially since the Support never ever replied, looks like i need to involve my lawyer :-(
In case Simplex isn't fraud, it's surely a bad service to customers and not trustful.

Same thing happened to me. I have gotten 5 responses from Simplex saying "it is not our problem - contact your wallet provider" (bitcoin.com) - and this is the only avenue for support here. I am NOT impressed with Simplex so far - someone has my money, and it is not me! (Simplex even "accidentally" put 3 holds against my credit card and locked my funds until they sorted it out!!!! :x

That's very sad to hear, since it shows off that they don't care and we might never see our money nor bitcoin's...
Only option seems to be to go back to the bank and recall the payment (european law allows to do so within 8 weeks of payment) additionally file a fraud case through a lawyer to be on the save side.

It's a shame how they deal with their customers!

Has anyone found a more reputable company to buy bitcoin? I thought Simplex was good - but I have learned that now that they have my money - they do not care about me.

Please can someone shed some light on Simplex, I have purchased some bitcoin 28/12/17 as below however I have not heard anything back from Simplex, tickets have been raised but to no avail. Please can someone reassure me if they do have a backlog will they eventually transfer the bitcoin to me? What is worrying they just do not respond with any updates.

My funds have luckily arrived in my wallet now after sending the approved simplex bitcoin purchase link to wallet@bitcoin.com

Also Simplex did get back to me after 24 hours.

The Simplex support finally got back to me as well (after 3 weeks)...
Unfortunately they pointing back to my Wallet provider support team, which is bitcoin.com.
After doing some research it looks like an wallet issue, checking blockchain.info, i do see the coins in that receiving adr. but somehow it seems not linked to my wallet, while the bitcoin wallet APP shows me exactly this receiving adr.

Anyhow. my conclusion so far, i should have kept on using my other wallet and payment processor services...

It took Simplex support 3 weeks to respond.
Bitcoin.com Wallet shows receiving bitcoin addresses which aren't linked to the actual wallet.

looks like i've chosen the worst combination. simplex (long services processing times) and wallet.bitcoin.com (APP generates none linked addresses).

Fingers crossed that the Wallet Support Team can solve the issue.

Im SAD that i have to write here....but its kid of the only place where you can express your saddness.

As a beginer in bitcoin...i went and trusted http://www.bitcoin.com cause sounds such an official web adress, and i bought 500 USD of bitcoins wich they added 37 USD fees. I said Ok. let it be.

I got an email in 5 minutes "Payment Request Submitted" with a Simplex payment ID.
I read on https://www.simplex.com/faq/ that it usualy takes an hour or max 24 hours to accept or reject a transaction.

THE FIRST 5 MINUTES SIMPLEX TOOK MY MONEY AND I CANT DO NOTHING. THERE ARE 2 DAYS SINCE I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO MY MONEY.

It is verry unprofessional and SCAMMMYYY. Please do something cause i feel verry scammed.

It sayid that i will be notified by email if rejected or aproved...but the 537 usd dissapeared from my bank account 2 days ago without me knowing what happened with it.

I wrote to the support...they said 72 hours. Whaaatttt???
They said be patient. I am ...but when i dont know nothing about my money and its the first time how can i be???
Please do something and figure this SCAM LIKE THING out.

PS. I READ SOME OF THE ARTICLES AROUND HERE AND I AM VERRRY SCARED!!! Somebody sayd that support came only after 3 weeks to solve their problem. I AM NEW AND SO SCARRED.

* Bitcoin.com replyed verry fast and said that i can be SURE that is not a SCAM.

Conclusion :
I dont think they are SCAMMERS but SIMPLEX system is weaker than a 7 year old kid programer can do better.

Please check the Bitcoin (BTC) address that you used to receive your purchase from Simplex by searching the BTC address on explorer such as, though not limited to, https://blockchain.info/

Do you see the bitcoin there? If so (and you are using a Bitcoin.com wallet) please take a look at the Bitcoin.com Wallet FAQ: https://walletsupport.bitcoin.com/ (the most common problem is accidentally using BCH address to receive BTC - https://walletsupport.bitcoin.com/artic ... bch-wallet )

If you don't see your bitcoin on the explorer then please keep in contact with support@simplex.com

Please check the Bitcoin (BTC) address that you used to receive your purchase from Simplex by searching the BTC address on explorer such as, though not limited to, https://blockchain.info/

Do you see the bitcoin there? If so (and you are using a Bitcoin.com wallet) please take a look at the Bitcoin.com Wallet FAQ: https://walletsupport.bitcoin.com/ (the most common problem is accidentally using BCH address to receive BTC - https://walletsupport.bitcoin.com/artic ... bch-wallet )

If you don't see your bitcoin on the explorer then please keep in contact with support@simplex.com
I checked now and it says "No transactions found for this address, it has probably not been used on the network yet."
