Making a living by cooking food, selling in the street and accepting Bitcoin as payment!

Thu Oct 05, 2017 1:24 am

I've got acquaintance over at Steemit who is making a living by cooking food and selling it in the streets. I really didn't know that that's how they made their money until today when I read a new article that they published (I'll cite their article and credit them as the author in just a moment).

At first I was just happy to see the delicious looking salad (they posted a pic too) and read about the ingredients. Then the article itself reminded me of a time in the past when I myself wanted to sell food (hot dogs! lol) in the street on a cart.

Now I started thinking about whether or not it would be a good idea to sell cooked food in the street and accept to Bitcoin as payment! ;)

So I proposed the question (in the form of a comment) and I'm waiting for their response.

In any event, here's the article:

"As you know we make our living out of cooking and selling in the street..."

...

"Today we make a nice salad, the most of the week, with head lettuce, natural buttered beans... and firewood grilled chicken breasts."

...

"I did not forget about the dressing, Greek Ginger Dressing, and of course I did not forget the recipe..."

There are Street Food Festivals occasionally,
where excellent fast food gets served.

You will need to participate into similar events. Allows you to bundle working hours into timespans of consecutive days, making earnest wages. To avoid having to work 24/7

Doing this using BTC/BCH depends upon rentability regarding additional costs like transaction fees, and you do want to have reliability on Zero Confirmation Transaction. That rules out anything like replace-by-fee transactions.

Some historical material (if you understand the language, but pictures speaking too) of greek cuisine some years after the banking crisis http://dergeschmackvonkreta.blogspot.fr ... -2012.html

That's a good idea. But will they allow to pay in bitcoin?

I went to this pizza place once, I don't remeber where but you could pay in bitcoins there. But they had to find their ways cause bitcoin was allowed. So what they did was that the waiters would bring you pizza for free and you would transfer bitcoin to their account. That's how they tricked the system)

Cooking is my hobby. Never in my life thought that I would like it so much but since I leave alone, I understood that cooking is a really interesting thing to do. I even read different reviews on the internet to find the best cookware or the best grocery store.
