Intentional policies of the current Core dev team network congestion, high fees, and double spending risk

Sat Aug 13, 2016 4:17 pm

Bitcoin previously had all the properties that made it the best form of money the world had ever seen. Due to intentional policies of the current Core dev team network congestion, high fees, and double spending risk are destroying Bitcoin's usefulness as money, making alt coins more and more attractive.

Oh, I just posted elsewhere saying blocks are not really full any more, and the high fees have gone too.
That can only mean the users are dwindling. Priced/delayed out by core. Confirmed by the miners.

But yeah, the double spend thing, cant trust 0 comf Core design bitcoin, that's still here. Confirmed by the miners.

The network is still completely maxed out.
There are over 18,000 transactions waiting to be included in future blocks.

Bitcoin.com receives many emails daily like the one bellow from new users to bitcoin.
Anyone involved should be embarrassed that the user experience is now so bad.
I never thought I would say this, but with horrible confirmation times, and high fees, I now have a hard time telling people in the first world why they should use Bitcoin.

Do we have anymore information on where the coin were purchased?
I see that she has stated the coins were purchase via a "bitcoin kiosk" and am guessing that means a bitcoin ATM (BTM), if so do we know what type of machine it was and who it was operated by?
Please help Ross and his family during this hard time by donating to the https://freeross.org/ fund. Play at the best provably fair Bitcoin games site here: games.bitcoin.com Need a fantastic Bitcoin wallet Pick up some great Bitcoin.com swag here

We get quite a few emails like this from people around the world every day.
It's really sad that the user experience regarding network confirmation is so poor now compared to what it was previously.
