This question has gotten much harder to answer with the advent of web fonts! Open Sans, Helvetica Neue, Proxima Nova and Lato are are all safe bets for what you’re describing. You’ve got lots of options though.

I usually use standard fonts, or Google fonts. If you want to find something beautiful and non-standard you can search on MasterBundles https://masterbundles.com/downloads/cat ... ive/fonts/ there are many professional fonts with good prices. For example only for $15 you can get 40 creative fonts.

I usually use different fonts for my different projects. And I look for them directly n the internet. There are a lot of websites. Or If I see the webpage that I like the font on I just contact the website owner and most of the times they tell me what it is and where to find them.
