Sent BTC to BCH Legacy wallet address

Any help would be hugely appreciated!
I sent btc from Coinbase to my bitcoin.com wallet but accidentally sent it to a Bch legacy wallet address. I can see the bitcoin on block explorer but it’s not showing on my bitcoin wallet balance. How can I recover the btc?

If you have sent BTC to a BCH address in your Bitcoin.com wallet, please follow the recovery instructions on this link:

Make sure that you follow each step very carefully, you will need the 12 word backup phrase of your BCH sub-wallet to recover the BTC.
