Recently, there are a lot of news regarding the regulation of the cryptocurrency but can cryptocurrency be truly regulated? I don’t think so. Cryptocurrency is designed to be decentralized, which means there will not be any central authority which could have total control over it.

Lol, sure, they want to regulate crypto cuz they’re afraid! Blockchain and cryptocurrencies may destroy traditional bank systems and change the world completely. Governments try to save their power and protect from digital revolutions, so they will come up with new laws, be ready. On the one hand, crypto projects may coexist with modern governments, just check Ripple and Stellar as well as their partnership with banks. Per contra, true decentralized systems must be independent from local authorities. Idk which way will the world go. It should be interesting.

To my mind, they are doing right. Since, not all the people are decent and will manage crypto-currencies only in honest way and for good ends.
