Where did bitcoin come from?

Where did bitcoin come from?

In October 2008, person or group using the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto posted a paper on a cryptography mailing list on bitcoin and how the cryptocurrency could work. In January 2009, the first bitcoin was mined and the software was released. The inventor of bitcoin was rewarded with all bitcoin mined in the currency's first ten days of existence, all of which is still unspent to this day. The blockchain shows that that there are still about one million bitcoins in Nakamoto's known wallet addresses, making the inventor worth a cool $7.5 billion.

There is still much speculation about the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, most of which is focused on a group of cypherpunks, a term used for cryptography enthusiasts and experts.

To be honest, it came out of the blue. Many financial experts themselves did not what it was. I don't think it was like one day, some guy came up with the entire approach. It was a well thought off system that has revolutionized everything. I don't think anyone could have predicted the impact it has now.

Albeit only bitcoins enter the Bitcoin economy as mineworkers are remunerated for handling exchanges, it's significantly more supportive to think about every one of the 21 million bitcoins as having been made when Satoshi Nakamoto characterised the Bitcoin convention and propelled the Bitcoin arrange in 2009.

Looking at the history of BTC, it emerged when an unknown name or group, released a white paper. In the paper, Satoshi Nakamoto, the unknown person or group, detailed how to execute the paper. Although the white paper was released in 2008, it was only later implemented in 2009.
