Bitcoin price skyrocketed, crossing the $500 mark. As inconceivable as it sounds, it was reported to be as high as high $531.70 .

Yes, it has!

Investors and day-traders should exercise caution as dramatic price increases bring additional risk. Always have a goal on what you are seeking from your investment and then cash-out. Each time you cash-out, build a new investment or trading strategy and start again. Tag and bag your profits to save.

It just kissed the EUR 500 mark on Kraken.

It is incredible how fast bitcoin is gaining value. It just needs another doubling to be in the All Time High price category. Will it get there? I don't know. I suspect that there really needs to be a scaling solution before such a price is warranted.

Paypal processes a hundred transactions per sec, Visa 4000, and Bitcoin is only at 7? Something needs to change here.

Indeed, bitcoin needs to scale. Most people say they agree with that, but do not act and appeal to an authority (Core) to do it for them. This appeal to authority is antithetical to bitcoin which has no central authority of any kind by design.

Please take action yourself by running an Unlimited or Classic node - and telling miners that you want them to do the same. Individually, they won't listen. Collectively, they might.
