Central bank of Iran issued statement to ban dealing with cryptocurrencies

Central bank of Iran bans banks from Cryptocurrency dealing, in statement Iran’s central bank ban the banks of country and related financial institutions from dealing with cryptocurrencies like bitcoin mentioning money laundering and terrorism financing risks. Local community of crypto in Iran believes that ban of central bank will not going to affect them and some exchanges continue to operate normally.
CBI central bank of Iran has delivered statement on Monday issued order to banks of Iran and other related institutes to stop use of cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and others.
Central bank of Iran explain more that money laundering committee of government had taken this decision in late December and now this decision going to issued and being put into effect. They explain that all cryptocurrencies have capacity to use for money laundering and also financing terrorism. They think in general cryptocurrencies can be turned into a means for transferring criminal’s money.

Zimbabwe’s central bank issued Circular to Banking Institutions No. 2/2018: Virtual Currencies, effectively banning all crypto activity in the African nation. Businesses dealing in decentralized currencies have 60 days to comply. Issued 11 May, the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, the country’s central bank, laid out seven points in ordering the shutter of things crypto within the southeast African nation.
