My name is Keith and I'm new to Bitcoin investing/mining. Over the past few weeks I've received several invites on Social Media Site (Instagram) from BTC investors/miners. Several of them have recommended Coinboost.info to me, stating that if I buy 0.02 BTC that my money would double every 8 hours. I'm a bit skeptical! Has anyone heard of or even used coinboost.info and is it a legitimate company?

I suggest staying very far away from any website that is offering to double your BTC every 8 hours (it's not going to happen, and what will happen is you ending up having less, or maybe zero, bitcoins).

Please also note that just owning Bitcoin (BCH or BTC) is an investment itself. There's no need for all of the investment schemes.

You are quite right to be skeptical. Anyone offering you these types of returns should be noted as a probable thief and kept at arms length. Currently (the excellent) Moon Math website is showing a doubling period of 46 days. That's real world figures compared to your thief's 8 hour claim. Just not possible, unless s/he's sitting on the trading desk at one of the big banks and is about to drop a few billion into a buy order.

tl;dr: It's a scam. Stay away.
