Bitmain Announces Antminer E3 to mine Ethash

Bitmain Technologies, Chinese based firm, launched its latest miner the Antminer E3 on April 3rd, 2018. This new hardware processes the hashing algorithm Ethash, the PoW consensus protocol for the Ethereum network.

Founded in 2013 by Jihan Wu, Bitmain has been doing well revenue-wise, and last year, it raked in $4 billion making it one of the largest technology companies in China. Bitmain has been making BTC miners, but lately, it is making dash and Litecoin miners. Recently, the company released two new devices, generating a debate in the cryptosphere.
