In this article I tried to cover what exchanges (and wallets) can learn from the ShapeShift hack. This incident should be a turning point for exchanges and wallets and for them to evolve and learn from others.

Yeah, background checks are a must but even that can't stop an employee that has gone rogue. Money does strange things to people.
