 The Bitcoin.com wallet will not support Segwit addresses but if someone sends you a transaction from a Segwit address the transaction will still be confirmed if the fee is high enough.

They way i understand it is that there really isn't a "segwit transaction" per se. Rather there are segwit outputs, and these outputs are spent in a different way from other outputs.
A transaction can create both Segwit and non-segwit outputs, and a transaction can spend from both segwit and non-segwit outputs.
If a segwit transaction is sent to someone like myself who does not use Segwit addresses, then the transaction spends a segwit output and creates a non-segwit output to be deposited to my address
