Question for everyone out there. . . IPO's allow ownership of the business for the investor.
Has anyone come by an ICO that results in ownership of the business? and I'm not talking about asset backed tokens either.

I read that most ico companies that now exist - are just scams which create the illusion of collecting money for some serious project.

From my understanding ICO's do not confer ownership rights, investors simply hope the value of the coin rises-which is what differentiates them from shares. So to answer your question, no I haven't come across any ico's that result in ownership.
