Error creating wallet: BADREQUEST : Invald network

Hi, a couple months ago I sent some BCC to my BTC address and I thought it was gone forever and a tough lesson learned. As I'm gaining more knowledge in the crypto space I realized it's possible to recover this BCC. I went to your help page and saw the 13 step process to recover lost BCC and got to step 7 to enter the recovery phrase, which I typed in. Well, when I went to step 9 to create the wallet I got this error message:

Error creating wallet: BADREQUEST : Invalid network

What did I do wrong? Is there anything else I can do? I can send the address that I sent to BCC to if that helps.

I am having this same problem. If you get a response from wallet@bitcoin.com please share it here. I emailed them days ago and received no response. My guess is that maybe we need to use a different Service URL but I have no idea what it would be.

Hi, I had the same problem, but when I downloaded the new version of wallet (4.0.4 instead of 3.6.0) the problem was gone. However, on the first attempt need me address not generated. I had to create again, after that everything turned out)))) Sorry for my english, but I think you understood me.
