I really need some help.

So as you know, BTC is out there, and I recall at the beginning of 2015 when it was really not a big deal, I decided to get learn more about btc and somehow I downloaded a type of software in my laptop that allowed me mine BTC now, my laptop ran for days and really I thought it was not a good idea i decided to cancel the process, but somehow it looks like I mined some btc, now my laptop got really full on space so i took it to the apple store and they figured out what happened, this happened at the beginning of this year 2017, I had an external hard drive and i put all those codes, blocks, pages however they may be call into the folder and they genius guy told me that i may havce some good money there bc it was a lot.

now, with that story put out there, my question is; how can i transfer those things from my external hard drive to a physical btc wallet? so i can somehow enjoy it.

any advice will highly appreciated it.

I really do not get what you are saying. You have to have a wallet on you hard drive. Or you would not have any coins showng. All you need do is make a back up of your private keys and you should be able to upload that backup to any Qt wallet. Hell blockchain info wallet supports the uploading of QT. backup. There are many was to put those coins on physical wallet. Just do me favor, back up

I'm assuming you were using Bitcoin Core back then? I didn't know you could mine on a Mac :D

I'll save you the effort of reading a long post in case you end up with a problem.

When using Bitcoin core, all your private keys (what you need to access your btc) are stored in a file called wallet.dat. It is located on a Mac at ~/Library/Application Support/Bitcoin/.

If you have it, then good news. You have access to your wallet back then. It may or may not have Bitcoin, depending on whether you actually mined a block or not (2015 was still pretty hard to hit a block). If you do find the file, please update here and we can continue with recovery.

Otherwise, you're out of luck.
