What makes anyone believe that governments that have invested so much in controlling their population will stop now. The world is run by oligarchs and NeoClassic "Capitalists" or crony capitalists as I call them, so their insatiable appetite for control and power is an addiction more powerful then any drug in the market (legal or otherwise).
