I know that this is a large transaction but it looks like the extremely high BTC fees are back:

The recommended fee on https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ is currently 850 satoshis/byte :o

I though that update wasn't put in place yet? And we are still paying old fees?

0.0500756 BTC just for the fees? :-| That's steep. Some people would be lucky just have to have that much BTC in the first place.

The recommended fees are a joke and a complete lie. I just transfered "several BTC" in <2 hours with >6 confirmations with a fee of 459 Satoshis/byte. It still cost $300 USD, which is completely and utterly ricidulous. If I made the same transfer using the Bitcoin.com wallet, I'd have paid almost double.
