BitSerial ICO Review- Is it a Scam?

The BitSerial ICO has just started and their website is currently displaying sales of nearly 3 million tokens already.

What is BitSerial?

They're a new cryptocurrency that runs on the Ethereum network, the new currency can be used to send payments for goods and services or to just send money to family and friends.
However the main aspect of the platform that will interest users is their lending platform which offers to pay users up to 45% interest per day.
There's been a huge increase in the amount of lending platforms launching recently which is hardly surprising considering the success of Bitconnect and more recently Regalcoin. Bitconnect initially went on sale for just $0.5 per token and is now valued at over $210 with a huge market cap of $1.5 billion. More recently Regalcoin went on sale at less than $1 and is now valued at over $40 per token.

How does it work?

The new platform states that they use a trading bot that trades on the volatility of bitcoin, this means that they make money whether the price increases or even when it goes down. In return for investing money with them they plan to pay users up to 45% interest per month.

BitSerial Lending platform

The new lending platform promises users up to 45% interest per month. Interest is paid daily directly to your wallet on the platform. They have the following contracts available:


$100-$1000: You receive interest based on the volatility of bitcoin which should average out at around 1% per day. You also receive an additional 0.2% per day. Your capital is returned after 139 days.
$1001-$5000: You receive the volatility interest with an additional 0.25% per day, capital is returned after 129 days.
$5001-$10,000: Same interest rate as above with your capital returned after 119 days.
$10,001-$50,000: Volatility interest with an additional 0.5% per day. Capital returned after 109 days.
$50,001-$100,000: Volatility interest with an extra 0.5% per day. Capital returned after just 100 days.

Referral Program

As with most platforms like this the main method they attract users is with a referral program. This tends to put some people off but the most succesful referral program is Amazon who most people seem to trust.
The BitSerial platform offers 5% commission on level 1 sign ups with additional bonuses down to level 3. They also have a binary like system which gives additional bonuses depending on how your team performs.

Why Invest?

Ofcourse any platform that offers you over 1% interest per day is going to be a risky investment so I wouldn't recommend investing more than you can afford to lose. However history has shown with their competitors that as soon as the token gets listed on an exchange it should gain value very quickly. If you combine this with the lending platform then the potential rewards can give you 100x your investment back within a few months, making it (in my opinion) a great calculated risk.

BitSerial ICO Details

The token sale is scheduled to run until the 12th of November or until the hard cap is reached. Currently 3 million of the 8 million available tokens have already been sold. The price is currently $0.5 per token with an additional 10% bonus, the price will slowly rise up to $0.8 per token as more are sold, this obviously means that getting in early is far better for investors.

Conclusion

This platform is high risk so I'll personally only be investing around $1000 which I have done also with similar platforms. I've made a lot of money with Bitconnect and Regalcoin so I'm happy to take the chance.
If the coin gets listed on an exchange (which it should) then the price should increase quickly to $10 and beyond.
