Has anyone here ever used bitcoin in small towns throughout Italy such as Isernia?

The reason I ask is because I read an article today (I'll cite the article and credit the author in just a moment) about a guy who a few years ago was looking for information regarding his great great great grandfather (The Duke Formichelli) in a town named Isernia in Italy.

There were several excellent pictures in the article and the town of Isernia looks like such an interesting place! I may want to visit there someday but my travel strategy is to try to visit interesting places where I can also spend bitcoin at hotels and at a few local shops.

Here's the article:

"I arrived to the airport in rome and my friend took me straight to where he lived in a Small town called Mafalda, 6hr drive from rome."

...

"After a few days of relaxing, I started to get bored and I remember that in my family was a story about my great great great grandfather he was from Isernia, The Duke Formichelli, there was a family palace and everthing, but, in WW2 a bomb destroyed it. Well... we didn't know for real if this is a true story but, I decided to get myself on a quest to reveal the truth or unveal the myth."
