Has anyone here used bitcoin to pay for hotels in Amsterdam and at shops there?

I was just reading an article (I'll credit that author and cite their article in just a moment) about an individual who recently traveled to Amsterdam. They took some excellent picture of the canals, the streets and the outside of a museum (among other pics).

Myself I'm not into the 'substances' (that's my wording, not used in the article) which may purchased in Amsterdam but the city itself does indeed seem like a fascinating place to visit!

When the author of the article first mentions the canals (and provides pics) I had to stop for a few seconds because I started thinking Venice but then I remembered Amsterdam is sort of the 'Venice of the North' (so to speak) and is even more of a watery city than Venice is!

Here's the article:

Excerpt:

"Hello steemers! I want to tell you about my trip to Amsterdam, it's the first city i will write about because i believe it's the best city in the world, for many reasons..."

...

"Amsterdam is famous for their canals, and it's not a surprise, because being around without a map is like beign lost in a maze, at least if you are not good to remember complicated street names."

...

"...a good idea is to take pictures of the corners and reference points, it will be easier to do this than to try to read a map when you are high as it gets."

...

"Once you start looking around, Amsterdam is a piece of art itself, but still you can find all kind of atractions, from architecture, street music and lots of museums like the wax Museum, Ann Frank's House, even the Marihuana Museum!"

...
