New cloud mining review website - CryptoRival

Sun Sep 10, 2017 10:11 pm

Image Image We're excited to announce the launch of a new website, CryptoRival! CryptoRival is aiming to become a valuable resource for all things cryptocurrency. We've written reviews of cloud miners, we've made a comparison table to easily view the differences between each of them, we compare exchange services, to help you choose who to use to turn your digital currency into your own currency, such as dollars.

Profitability calculators are also included on our website. These are designed to help you decide how profitable mining a certain coin can be for you, such as bitcoin, monero, etc. We allow you to input your hashing power, any pool fees you many incur, power usage, power cost in kw per hour and hardware costs if you're using your own rig, or the contract cost if you're using cloud mining. We then show you your possible profit in four stages; daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.

We've also started building a frequently asked questions page, designed to help out anyone who has a question about bitcoins, digital currencies, mining and everything in between.

We'd love to know what you think of the site, what you'd like added, what features you want to see and any feedback you might have.

The website address is https://cryptorival.com. You can contact us there, reply to this thread, our we are online on Twitter, Facebook and lots more.

Best wishes,
The CryptoRival Team

A quick glance at the site suggests you are providing a very helpful service. I'll visit it recurrently to get needed education.
One matter on which you could be helpful (if it is not already covered at the site) is the academic work on the statistical relation between mining difficulty and coin price. A Cornell prof. (Adam Hayes, as I recall) has done a lot of work on this matter, focusing on what he calls a cost-of-production model of price determination.
I hear that the average cost of a producing a new Bitcoin now exceeds $1,000, so this topic is getting to be quite important for fundamentals-minded investors.

Thanks for the feedback! This is something we have planned to add to the site, we are currently building a guides section that we want to add things like that to.
