I've been using Blockchain.info wallets for a few years with no problems, I went to do a trade today and noticed a change. I was wary that someone had hijacked the login page so I immediately closed down the page.
I then changed my passwords and all seems well. But has anyone else noticed the new protocol?
It used to go like this:
login in with ID, password, and 2FA
Go to Wallet
Click on Send BTC
Enter address and amount
Screen pops up for second password
Enter second password
Hit confirm
But today, it went like this:
login in with ID, password, and 2FA
Go to Wallet
Screen popped up for second password immediately--no way to put in address or amount until second password was entered
I have sent Blockchain.info a message asking them about it. But have any of you encountered this? Am I worried about nothing?
