The Question about Bitcoin

Tue Jan 12, 2016 1:41 pm

I started purchasing bitcoin 3 weeks ago, and I also create daily videos about my "bitcoin journey", I am up to 3 bitcoin now, my goal is to buy 10 bitcoin in 10 weeks. I will hold those 10 and buy 5 more to spend and keep regenerating. I am into bitcoin for personal use, not business, so 10 bitcoin is just enough for me. I have been earning money online since 1999, and have earned millions with email marketing, I quit email marketing a long time ago, now I consider myself retired and set for life. Last night I created a video to talk about a question that has been probing my mind for the past few days about Bitcoin, and I am sure I am not the first person to ask this question of one self. Please watch the video and tell me your thoughts

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=umdQp7w71Bg

I also have another video which is like an introduction to who I am and talks about how I earned millions in email marketing

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZU_b17bf130

I appreciate your time, Craig

Very cool and well done! I made quite the fortune off Bitcoin last year and this year will be no different!!!!!

I made fortunes too off email marketing in the early 2000s, nice to see a fellow mailer :)

If you really believe in the future of bitcoin I would think you would be buying more than fifteen bitcoin while price is still under $500.

I like it when people buy to spend and regenerate (rebuy) I think coinbase even has an auto buy on spend function

you are right about that, but being retired puts me on a budget, and breaking out of that would mean less time with my family and going back to work online, no amount of money is worth that quality time, perhaps when my kids get older and move out of the house I will be ready to do that, but yes, you are right

Congrats!

In another thread, a parent has named his son, "Atom". It seems you, like him, have thought up very cool names for your kids :)

Re: The Question about Bitcoin

The Bitcoin rabbit hole runs deep my friend. To sit here and say what Bitcoin is would be to explain all the capabilities of the internet back in 1993. The internet is still growing and expanding organically at this moment.

Bitcoin is going to blow your mind, currency is but the first application of the technology. I understand your excitement, I did not sleep for 3 months devouring everything I could get my ears and eyes on.

It is good you got in the game, the technology holds great promise for all of humanity. I am going to suggest a list of folks to look up to help you in your journey and perhaps cut through some of the chafe so you can reap the wheat.

You know of Roger, that is good.

Andreas Antonopoulis
Brock Pierce
Eric Voorhees
Trace Mayer
James DeAngelo
Marc Andreessen
Balaji Srinivasan
Chamath Palihapitiya

There are many, many more names but this should keep you busy for a while.

PROTIP: If you are storing your Bitcoin online with a third party, you do not own any Bitcoin.
What you own is an IOU for Bitcoin. You must learn how to store your own private keys securely.

You have heard the expression " possession is 9/10ths of the law " ?
In Bitcoin its 10/10ths of the laws. Full secure possesion is everything!

I am into finance, and stay far away from technical, mining, or anything mechanical, so Roger is a good fit for my way of being, and I also hold the Winkelvoss twins from Gemini exchange in high regard. Anything having to do with money is my cup of tea, those are the names that would interest me,

and... I don't have any interest in any person who is not American

Oh, forgive me. I didn't realize I was interacting with a bigot.

I beleive the only one on that list who is not American is Roger Ver.
You won't hear from me again.

I expected a response like this :) , as I'm aware that there are very few well known Americans in the Bitcoin space. This is because Americans don't worship each other like non-Americans tend to do, and I admire that quality about Americans. In the USA it's every man for one self, and if anyone tries to get too much respect they get ripped to threads... except for Donald Trump, for him I think there's an exception I because he spent his whole life earning his respect, and everyday he preaches how much he loves America and wants to make it greater than ever before.

I try to watch non-Americans talk about bitcoin, but I get sleepy after a few minutes, or get turned off if they use too many fearful words. For me, bitcoin is never something to worry about or fear in any way, it's more like something to praise and be joyful about in every way. 8-) BTC
