Besides Genesis, are there other exchanges that can handle large Bitcoin buy/sells or should I say specialize in this regard. I found BTCC but not quite sure about how they operate. If anybody can please share feedback regarding differences both positive and negative. Thanks.

There are a bunch of exchanges on the market, too many to count really!

But if you are looking at institutional size buying, besides Genesis you can try ItBit, Gemini, or even Coinsetter.

I might enter if you have people who do not like complicated and choose a safe for storing BTC, to buy or sell easily, you can register at btc-e.com
