When it comes to the FinTech sector, there is very little doubt that digital currencies such as Bitcoin will become a mainstream trend sooner or later. Even though the concept of digital currency in its current form has only been kicked around for a few years, both consumers and retailers see the value and potential of accepting Bitcoin and other currencies. Transaction volume is on the rise, less Bitcoins will be generated per day come April 2016, and the financial sector keeps struggling to keep up with consumer demand.
