His logic does not even make any sense. The decision to upgrade to BIP101 is a business decision, and does not have anything to do with what is being discussed.

If he wants to say that "bitstamp would no longer be a bitcoin exchange if they upgrade to BIP101" then I would counter by saying that MtGox is no longer a bitcoin exchnage but there is no reason to ban them from r/bitcoin
