Hi everyone.

It has always been my belief that human misery has causes, and that those causes can (mostly) be understood, and defeated. There's no need to just be miserable.

I believe that a lot of the recent misery in the Bitcoin world is directly related to the innovation straightjacket of the hard fork. The straightjacket protects us all from having our money stolen (and, as an indirect result, it protects the developers from being kidnapped / threatened), but it also prevents us from improving the Bitcoin protocol.

Hopefully sidechains will help us escape the straightjacket in a safe, healthy, voluntary way.
