As of late, I've been hearing about people whom have stored things on the Bitcoin block chain such as wedding vows. How do you go about doing this and would it be possible to store a share purchase transaction ledger for private capital that was raised for a company??

you can store any information on the blockchain. space is limited but it is enough to store even a share purchase. a company could also register and sell its shares on the blockchain.
you can also do a decentralized stock market with the blockchain.
