General Crypto Security Advice #422

Mon Jun 19, 2017 6:51 am

In all cryptos (not only Dash BUT all others too) you NEED to secure your password/Seed /.... yourself !

Be your Own Bank
sounds great and tempting to all - but - you have to consider the responsibility (passwords/ Privatekeys/ Encryption/ Seeds/...) which is now in your hands ONLY !
You need to secure your passwords - nobody else will / should do this for you - if somebody else does it they have a great chance in stealing all your funds !

The biggest problem in the crypto space as of now - is users losing (or forgetting) their passwords

So - please use a Password Manager !
- What is a Password Manager:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Password_manager
- Recommendation:

- How does KeePassX work

Do NOT use Webbased Password managers as they store your passwords on a centralised server and eventually will be hacked - and u can buy back your own passwords on The DN ; )

The growing popularity of cryptocurrencies has helped bolster the market value of these four coins during the first half of 2017
