i dont think it will be "ready" too and i think bitcoin will give a shit about it and develop further no matter what will happen

it is ready to use since 2009. it will always be ready to use.

The question of whether bitcoin is ready is only one side of the coin

Sure, bitcoin will need to scale before it can handle any kind of surge in adoption. Currently blocks are too full and alternatives (ie protocols on top of bitcoin such as payment channels) are not ready.

But end users are also not ready. If their banks get shut down tomorrow, or the value of their fiat currency takes a hit: what are they going to be buying bitcoins with? And who will sell them some?

Unfortunately it seems as if most people still need to take a hit before they are ready to open their eyes.

That said, I heard Jeffrey Tucker say that bitcoin is evolving exactly as free market currencies should. Slowly expanding in the scopes where it gets used. And slowly creeping into new markets all the time. I think this will be how bitcoin continues to grow.

In casw of an economic crash, I think the value of bitcoin will rise - especially when compared to fiat - and that will save a minority by preserving or growing their purchasing power.

i agree with arnoudk. bitcoin is still too young and not ready for mainstream but that is also good for all early adopters. the best part is happening when you are early in the game. the internet in 1995 was exactly the same. only a few saw it coming and the others were laughing:
