You can pick a wallet from this site: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet and try it out... If you don't like it, just deinstall. However, once you've given out an address from a wallet, or posted it somewhere, you should keep a backup of your wallet or seed phrase before deinstalling.

This being said, i do have a couple of tips/pointers:
- stay away from online wallets and exchanges. They have a very small learning curve and are accessible from about any device and any place, but you sacrifice to much security for these upsides.
- for a newbie, i always like to suggest using a SPV HD wallet like multibit HD or electrum. I personally find multibit HD the most intuitive and user-friendly wallet around, but it lacks some more advanced coin controll features. Electrum has allmost every feature i personally use, but it's gui is a bit more complex for a new user.

If you only see coin space and copay, it probably means you selected to see only wallets for Windows Phone... It is very well possible only these two wallets were compiled for windows phone, but i'd strongly suggest to start out with a windows DESKTOP wallet!!! (at least, if you're running windows, like most users... If you're running linux/Mac, you should select the appropriate OS)

If you select desktop => windows, you'll see about 10 possible wallets, including core, electrum, multibit HD, armory,...

It's better to choose the electrum or armory wallet
if do you want to online wallet is a good choice blockchain.info

In choosing wallet you must choose the better one and consider your preferred device that you want store your Bitcoin (PC or Mobile)
In PC I must recommend to you to choose electrum and in mobile I recommend you to use Mycelium wallet.These two wallet is much recommended for beginners.
