BTCJam scammers name and shame

Fri Oct 16, 2015 12:50 pm

I've a fistful of scammers from BTCJam that have legged it with my coins. I have arbitration awards received in my favour which discloses enough identifying information on each of these scammers that I would like to publish the data here and expose them to their friends (and the world) as being dishonest thieves. Unless they agree to refund me in full, in which case I will be happy to remove the posts.

In the absence of a dedication sub-forum, where would the mods prefer that I post this data on this site?

What do you think the appropriate sub forum for this kind of thing should be?

Reputation and WoT?
We could discuss reputation systems, but also share "incident reports" and news related to trust.

Maybe some kind of reputation site (+ proofs) would be an interesting idea.

Two resources for BTCjam scam information: Loanbase forums and shamelist.it.

http://forum.loanbase.com/index.php?forums/btcjam

http://shamelist.it

I recommend not supporting BTCjam because they accept mismatching documents submitted by users committing identity theft. If you mention this on the site, as I have, they turn off your commenting privileges and ignore your emails to Support. The site is highly censored.

Absolutely agree on that.
Things turned worse after the whole auto-invest thing and arbitrary high interest rate for short term loans, seems only to benefit scammers.

I've noticed more defaults too, even some well respected members have defaulted recently. Big disappointment, would not recommend anyone to invest in BTCJam anymore.
No experience with other lending sites (Pop, LendersClub) but heard they suffer from similar ills.
