Blockdaemon, an institutional blockchain infrastructure company, announced today that it has acquired cryptocurrency API company Gem. As part of the agreement, Blockdaemon will leverage all of Gem's flagship products, including Onramp solutions, Connect API, KYC Passport, and more. According to reports, Gem has a fiat-to-crypto on-ramp and comprehensive transaction data aggregation service for tracking cryptocurrency investments from a single location. Earlier news, Blockdaemon announced that it has completed a $207 million Series C financing at a valuation of $3.25 billion, led by Sapphire and Tiger Global.
