New block-chain based TCG with micro-earnings (and no costs)

Wed Aug 28, 2019 9:21 pm

Hi guys,
I've come across a new trading card game called Gods Unchained where cards are block-chain based. This makes them freely and individually trade-able, sellable, and so on. It's free and still in beta but I find it both compelling, fun and possible rewarding in the future.

The model currently allow players to collect tokens from each match they win in the game. These tokens work as tickets to a raffle in the near future where unique items can be won. The tokens however can also be sold to other players - and this is already on-going with an active market. I've made a small 0.2 ETH amount from a weekend of VERY casual playing. I've also earned a bit by buying tokens at low price, selling at higher. These are small amounts but the game is also early, with only a few thousand players currently. I find it quite interesting that is an opportunity for people to get into crypto trading and investment - without any up-front costs.

Do you guys see a future in a game like this?

And finally, the "ulterior motive"! If anyone wants to give the game a try you need a beta-invite - you can use mine if you want, simply write godsunchained dot com and paste this after: ?beta-key=vHpidZlRIb
- it also provides me with a couple of benefits :)

in exchange I'll be happy to answer questions, provide help and discuss the game in a broader perspective.

Best Wishes,
E. Shawn
