How does the transaction actually works?

If a tramsaction confirmed by mining. Does it mean each transaction have to wait for a mining to be completed? Doesnt mining required alot of power and time?

Yes mining requires a lot of energy, time and computing power. Transactions are confirmed when included in a block, so yes.

mining requires all time power and energy to complete. it is always advised to do with a full power backup.
