GPU mining

I'm little bit curios on which gpu would be the best for mining eth or xmr and which one should i choose amount the two cryptocurrency?

XMR is better mined via cpu as GPU has no advantage in the cryptonight algorithm.

Eth, GPU has a decent advantage. You can try either the Rx480 or gtx1060


It really just depends on what you are willing to spend.

Thanks for the clarification and suggestion. For now i have plans to purchase GPU on mining ETH hence its quite profitable for my side. I would do first research on both gpu's that you mentioned.

I actually mine Eth with my GPUs and on the same system I have a CPU miner mining XMR.
Works well. Just keep in mind you want to have plenty of RAM so you do not slow your system. I have 32 mb in mine with 4x RX 480s and when I had 16mb it did not run so well doing both.
