OnMiners claim new Mining technology with higher hashrates and much lower energy usage. Is this a scam?

I recently read about a new mining rig/technology built by a new company called Onminers, that seems too good to be true. I am trying to find out how to research or where to go to research to find out if this is a scam before I purchase one and send them my money.

This company , Onminers (dot) com, is claiming to have built an endothermic mining unit that can produce extreme hashrates on multiple algorithms using only a fraction of the energy that the Asics machines currently use. This company put out a Press Release announcing these units to the world on March 6th. If you type "onminers sa" into your search engine, the press release with specs and details about these machines.

If this where true, would it not radically change the game in the crypto industry? Wouldn't this be worthy of headlines even on major network news sources? So it feels like it has to be a scam..

So please help if you can, or send me in the right direction if you think you know someone else that can help me find the truth behind this claim.

I am from Luxembourg and i paid them a visit, the company office look allright, i have tested on2u there, yesterday i purchased 2 of them and now i am waiting for them to dispatch.

What tests did you do on the on2U ? What did they tell you about endothermic chip technology and what did that technology look like?

I did some research and the website and the company is a complete SCAM!!!

The spokesperson in the youtube video promoting the products is an American model named Daniel Prok (instagram: ilovebrotherdan)
The images used for the supposed team are taken from popular image sharing sites:
