With Electrum and Electron Cash, I can use the same recovery seeds on both.
It seems It's not true with Bitcoin.com wallet: It gave me error when I try to import 12 words seed (I have on BTC wallet) with Bitcoin Cash switch is ON.
I am really not sure. I know that when i started my BCH wallet it gave me a new seed to, maybe you can back up the wallet again with one seed afterwards but i doubt it.With Electrum and Electron Cash, I can use the same recovery seeds on both.

No i don't think so. Since the wallet would already be generating BCH addresses from the original BCH wallet seed it could not then be combined with the BTC seed that i know of.I think yes they can, the underlying architecture seems to be the same, right?
That's exactly what I thought. The seed should technically create the same master private key on both chains. Why is not working? I think it's a bug! That's why I asked and hopefully getting a good explanation for that.I think yes they can, the underlying architecture seems to be the same, right?
Well i have to stand up and say when i am wrong and in this case i was at least part wrong. That's exactly what I thought.
