thanks for takin the time sayurichick. Need more assistance.... the BitcoinABC have more of a Command line sort of interface than a GUI isn't it..https://download.bitcoinabc.org/0.15.0/ doesn't it. don't even know how to run it. execute it.
I recommend using Bitcoin.com Wallet instead. It supports both BTC and BCC, and is much easier to use than Bitcoin ABC.

Download Bitcoin.com Wallet here:

Hi zowki!
didn't think will get to hear from you...being a busy man as you are. thank you first of all.
the thing is...
tell me if this is simple and orderly enough#
have a win10 pc. with a decent amd6core unlocked cpu. 3.5 to 4.5ghz
NVidia card 4gb. cuda updated driver.
internet 75mbps speed with about 250gbs fair usage allowed in a month.
have already downloaded bitcoin core14.02
have already a bitcoin wallet on the same machine with bitcoin core. have not run the bitcoin core though; because of the wanted to clarify first.
I don't have any money yet to invest, wanted to lend my system and internet connection to gradually acquire some btc as reward or compensation for the work my system will. me. not of the trader sort of mindset. for me, even a fork like bcc is not the contrary of btc efficacy. however, with btc for the its ability to learn and singularity.

is running core anyway going to convert to receiving btc in return for work and its proof of work?
regards,
K
You will not earn any BTC from running Bitcoin Core.

It is impossible to earn BTC from mining on a desktop PC (GPU or CPU mining).

The only way to mine BTC is with specialized hardware such as an Antminer S9, or by purchasing a cloud mining contract.

i need help, i am new with 8x Antminer S9, what is the best pool to mine?

Tue Sep 12, 2017 2:41 pm

I read soooo much informations where is the right mining pool for me, but i am still not smarter, because its already too much information.

I am mining in this moment with 8x Antminer S9 in Antpool and i have a average hashrate from 118.98 TH/s - in 3 weeks there are coming 15x more miners same type.

I want simple get the most money out of this as fast as possible. I put the miners in my house where everything fits like temperature etc. So they are running really 24/7

There are soooo many comments that they want to get people away from anntpool, i need to ask because of this.
Where can i get more money for my mining work capacity?

Thanks a lot of all answers and i really appreciate your help...

You should mine on https://pool.bitcoin.com instead of Antpool. We pay more because of our 110% block reward.

Antpool currently only pays 102.34% block reward with PPS+.

@zowki did you have a chance to take a look at the VARDIFF for the pool stratum? Thanks.
Vardiff on the auto-profit server should be fixed now. Please let me know if it works for you.
It doesn't seem to be working. It does the same thing as the other stratum servers. For me, it goes up to 4100 for the diff and stays there. I think its submitting shares, but the best share value stays at 0.

I have to set a manual diff of 4700 to get a best share value to show on all servers.

We intentionally cap the Vardiff maximum difficulty to 4100. Otherwise we have issues with rejected shares for many of our users.

If you want to mine at a higher share difficulty, please set difficulty manually.

Don't worry about best share. It shouldn't have an effect if you are submitting valid shares.

Ahhh ok thanks very much. I just like to see how close I am to mining a block. With an S7, I don't expect anytime soon, I just like to see it. Thanks!

I agree. I want to switch but it takes 18 hours and we all need to switch for it to be worth it.
Even a half or quarter of the main hash power would still mine more blocks and the rewards would be split fewer ways. Definitely worth it I think.

Current prediction for Bitcoin difficulty increase on sunday-monday night is whopping 21%, so we might see huge increase on Bitcoin cash hashrate on all the other pools as well.

I wish there was an auto-switch feature to automatically switch between most profitable pool. Though it shouldn't only look at short term profitability, it should take into account the hash power of both chains as well. So in general if we're only mining 1% of blocks on BTC and there's low hash power on BCH, then if you take into account the amount of hash power that is configured to auto-switch and compare that to how many blocks could be mined on BCH e.g. the pool could take 10% of all the blocks mined. Then if you compare that 10% of the pie on BCH (multiplied by the price and adding average fees), is worth more than only mining only 1% of the pie on BTC. The calculation would need to be run continuously e.g. every 5-10 seconds and checking the exchange rate and hash power. It would be a much more advanced profitability switching algorithm compared to the other pools that probably just work on the current price.

Hi
Why you don't pay bonus for BCC miners? Are there possible to get even 5% bonus because we support second chain. There is only few miner in your pool. Best option is change bonus with profitable, if main chain is more profitable then bonus for bcc and if bcc is more profitable then give bonus for main chain. Support both chain and miners is best :)

Another option I hope you do is little faster change than 24 hours. It is too long. Make it atleast half, earlier when it was instantly it was nice but now 24 hours is too much.

I was wondering if there are any plans for a JSON API?
Perhaps, what information would you like to have made available via the API?
Hi rogerver, I would like to have the rewards and fees also in the JSON API, if you dont mind..

Account Charts and Dashboard show no active workers, including Contracts, for BCC but the Workers tab does show active hashrate. Is the BCC node down or is this just a reporting glitch for the Dashboard, Account and Account Hashrate tabs?

Same thing with BTC, all workers offline for over a hour now.

However I'm sure they'll fix the earnings:

So our maximum hash power of >120 Ph/s can have a bigger effect on the Bitcoin Cash chain, thus we will mine more blocks and make a lot more money.
I agree. I want to switch but it takes 18 hours and we all need to switch for it to be worth it.
Profit for an amount of hashrate is only dependent on two things:

1. Current difficulty
2. Current price

It is not affected by the size of the mining pool being used or the total current global hashrate mining on the chain. This is because with PPS (pay per share), which all cloud mining contracts here are on, the pool pays the expected revenue based on how much hashrate is contributed and current difficulty. Payout is affected by current market price due to the daily fee (which is in USD).

Anyone can switch freely back and forth and not be affected by other pool members mining or not mining BCC. This is a good thing, as it's much simpler to see what is more profitable and there is no need to coordinate with others.

Going to be more profitable to mine on BCC in a few hours with the projected 20% diff increase of BTC.

We're still having some front-end issues. I am working on fixing it.

Edit: This should now be fixed. Please email pool@bitcoin.com if you still encounter issues.

You go under Purchased Contracts on the left side, expand the entry for the contact you want to switch, then click the button "Switch To BCC".

They've made it now that it's an instant switch. Just hit the button and you're all set.

Look at those fees shoot up!
https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#24h

It's already about equal mining profitability again due to BTC fees (though this pool has a semi-fixed 10% fee bonus so doesn't fluctuate as much)
