It works on my Android.

I don't like the fact that it needs access to my location. That is not relevant in any way for a forum.

I also don't like that it tries to market itself by adding text 'sent from (exact phone model number) using Tapatalk.'

Why does it violate my privacy by default in such a way?

Other than this, it does seem to work pretty well.

I agree, the location is completely not-at-all relevant. Is that a required permission when installing the app or is asking nicely?

Would it be possible for you to screenshot all the permissions the app asks for?

The signature seems to be an app setting - unfortunally enabled by default, can't do much about that.

With the more premium version of Tapatalk ($69 a month out of the forums pocket, rather than $10 with the regular premium as we have today), we could have our own app for the forum - I'll do some investigation with it to see if we can force some default settings with that, like the Tapatalk signature off by default.

Thank you for the feedback!
