Wallet won't confirm after years

I will try to make this short and sweet. I starting mining bitcoin on a Mac Mini in late 2012. After months I received half a BTC for my efforts from slush pool. At that point I decided to stop mining unless I bought a dedicated rig and just decided to see how much that half coin grew in value. So I finally go to reopen my wallet now that the value has grown so much over the years and I have a unconfirmed transaction from 2013 for .49 BTC. My wallet shows a balance of zero. The status of the transaction states 0/unconfirmed, not in memory pool.

Please advise.
